This one took me FOREVER! I can only imagine how hard it would have been if I hadn't already drawn my final image. Anyway, yeah, the hero Spook is transformed to the villain's minion Umbra. When drawing up Spook I tried to give him a costume that had a "home-made" look to it. That's the impression that gave me when he described what Spook looked like. I think he turned out well.
I used a program called Sqirlz to do the actual morphing. Took me a long time to get the opening of the jacket to look right.
The way I created the intermediate image was I took the line art of Spook and the line art of Umbra and morphed them together using Sqirlz. I then took the middle image and used it as a psuedo-skeleton for me to trace the line art for the intermediate image. I then figured out the colors between Spook and Umbra's uniforms and used those to color the image.
The hardest part of the animation was the hair, had I known I was going to do an animation when I started drawing Umbra I wouldn't have given her such a long ponytail. XD But as far as what I'm most proud of on this animation, it was how I feel it looks like the breasts are pushing outwards. That took a while to figure out how to get that to look right and I feel I did it well.
EDIT: Added in the blinking after a friend reminded me of an older animation I did before joining dA. Adds a good visual for a response I think.
'Nuff said.
